Cat Simulator

Cat Simulator is made by Critters Studio and sits in Poki's simulators. You play as a mischievous cat, and the game is built around the things a cat does when nobody is watching. You explore cosy rooms and larger maps, knock objects over, and hunt small mice. The rooms are the playground: shelves, tables and floors full of things that can be pushed off, and corners where mice may be hiding.

There is more to do than make a mess. The game gives you neighbourhood tasks, stars to collect and new rooms to unlock, so the wandering has something to aim at when you want it. None of it is forced on you: you can follow the tasks, or you can simply see what the next room holds. Unlocking new rooms widens the space you can explore, so a session that starts in one cosy room can end on a much larger map.

Controls are the smallest set on this rack. W A S D or the arrow keys move the cat, and Space makes it jump. Jumping is the only action besides walking, so reaching anything off the floor starts with it. Cat Simulator was released on Poki in March 2026 and last updated there in August 2026, which makes it the newest game on the rack.

• Go through a room fully before moving on. Things to knock over and mice to hunt are spread around.
• Use Space often. With walking and jumping as the only moves, most places worth reaching start with a jump.
• When you are unsure what to do next, look at the neighbourhood tasks. They give a session a direction.
• Collect stars when you pass them instead of planning to come back later.
• Treat a new room as a map to learn. Walk its edges once, then go back for the things you spotted on the way.

Players who enjoy exploring without a timer, cat people, and younger players who want simple controls with plenty to poke at. It also works for short sessions, since there is no level to finish before you can stop.

Drawbacks, in small print

• Poki is ad-supported, so an ad may appear before the game starts or between sessions.
• It is open-ended. Anyone who wants a clear finish line may find it aimless. The tasks and stars help, but they are there to be picked up, not to push you along.
• It is the newest game here, so its page on Poki has had fewer updates than the others.
